Friday night shenanigans

Two glasses of wine and I'm singing the Monster album at the top of my (sad and weak) voice, alone in the house, giving the auto-tune stu-stu-stutters my best shot. Mmm, dancing all alone. Good times!

And god damn this subwoofer is amazing. The entire house is rattling.

Oh, it's good to be an adult. But I think the fact that I'm this tipsy on just two glasses of wine means I should probably turn in my old Party Girl card.

I can't bring myself to sing when I can hear my own voice. Even when I sing at home I have to turn up the volume enough to drown me out. Thank you for the offer, though!

What do you think of Born this Way? I downloaded it around 5 and have already listened to it about 12 times. :)

It's okay. I haven't been as impressed with her latest stuff. This makes me really sad. I know it sounds stupid, but...it's so heavily produced. It sounds too much like standard house music to me. =(

I feel you on this. I felt like this song was very much in the vein of "Dance in the Dark" with the fake pseudo-rapping layered on top. Kind of bugs me because I know she can write such amazing melodies and doesn't need that filler. I HAVE heard that Born This Way as an album is wildly varied as far as styles go, so we're not to expect a whole album of house music, which is exciting to me.
