I'd like a do-over, please

This is the third (or fourth?) night in a row that I've been kept awake for an hour or more due to strong thunderstorms. The lightening was so intense last night that it recharged our solar lights in the front lawn.

I haven't had a decent night's sleep in days, I'm super tired, and I really miss coffee. I'm hungry, but don't wanna cook anything because [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick was up even later than I was and I don't want to make any noise to wake him.

My stupid phone already made enough of a racket this morning when the pharmacy called to tell me they wouldn't refill my thyroid medication because I needed to make an appointment with my doctor to refill even though the bottle says I have refills through March 2012. So now I have to go see my PCP and pay $30 to get my fucking meds refilled. And I have only three days left of my medication, so I have to do it, like now.

*grump*

Ugh. I am so sorry. I absolutely hate it when I have a mounting sleep deficit, and/or I have to cough up a copay just to get a prescription refilled.

I have been sleeping through the thunderstorms, thanks to zolpidem, but I am hearing they have been pretty wild. I hope my plastic chairs aren't strewn about like they were yesterday morning when I took the dog out before leaving for work.

[livejournal.com profile] mckitterick took me to the Aladdin buffet as a consolation prize. =)

Okay, I won't call you to return the French press so I don't interrupt any rest that you are hopefully getting. I've got it packed up and ready to go. Give me a call when it is convenient for me to drop it by.

Eh, no opportunity for napping today...

Maybe having your doctor phone in a refill will work. Mine always does that with just a call to his nurse. You can call and ask for that, with the nurse making a return call with a fast appointment if the phone in refill is denied.

Why spend unnecessary money?

Nope, he doesn't do phone refills.

.. which is damned annoying, despite our love for our doc.
If the scrip you need is any of your old stuff, I do have some extra Cytomel about.
