It's a good thing I'm not a horse
We're fewer than six weeks into 2012, and I've spent nearly $1,000 on medical expenses not covered by insurance. The good news is I've already met my medical deductible for the year.
The physical discomfort and the mental stress and the emotional despair is wearing me down. Has worn me down. I'm tired on every level. There isn't a single aspect of my life that is not exhausting to me.
Someone suggested the other day that I might be depressed. Well no shit, Sherlock. Yes, I'm fucking depressed. But I'm not going to sign up for another goddamned pill that may or may not help with another goddamned symptom.
Tomorrow I'll step back to look more reasonably at what I can do to get myself back to a good place. Today, though? Today is just one big pity party.
