Yesterday I nearly finished a major art project (it's a gift, so no pics, sorry), and smoked my last cigarette until KCRF season rolls around (assuming we do Smoker 2012). I'll still indulge in hookah-ing, but cigs are off the menu for a while.

I can't believe it's still raining. This is a little frustrating, not because I mind the rain so much, but I need it to be not raining so I can spray the art piece down with fixative. Definitely not doing that indoors, and even if I had a space to do that, it's so humid it'd take forever to dry. grumble.

Damn it's nice not to be at work.

On today's menu:

Sew up saffronhare's bloomers, pop a favor in the mail to sdemory, and (the biggie) attend an introduction to Crossfit class.

That last one is a little nervous-making. I've been back- and hip-pain free for a couple of weeks now. I'd like to continue that trend.

I stayed up way too late last night watching due South with mckitterick. We finally wrapped up Season Two, and now we're into Kowalski time. Oh Ray Kowalski. It's not just that the actor playing you is fucking sex on toast. Your delivery and timing is so perfect. A couple times mckitterick had to pause and/or rewind because we were laughing so hard we missed some dialogue. Pitter-patter indeed.

Aaaaand I just spilled coffee on my netbook.

Update: When I get some fancy-ass smart phone (it's inevitable, I realize that), I am so doing this.
