Heads up
The march/rally yesterday went so well! The weather was perfect, and there was no trouble. The Phelps crowd made a shockingly small and quiet appearance--especially considering this was a home game, so to speak. There were several good speakers, although the presentations led by men both had some problems. One, given by a very dapper man in lovely suit whose name I don't remember but he's a science teacher poor thing, wasn't too bad. I had some issues about how he talked about teaching his daughters how to avoid being raped/assaulted by avoiding bad areas, not opening doors to strangers, blah blah blah. If he's a science teacher, he really needs to be educated about rape and assault statistics. Other than that, okay. The other one, OH THE OTHER ONE. The other one was a presentation/street theater thing from the Occupy Wichita people, led by this weird rambling guy (also in a suit) and pretty much all I can say for that one is:

I got lots of pics of great signs and a couple pics with
carmy_w which I shall hopefully post on Monday. Depends on if I can find some online photo editing software since someone lost my Photoshop CD.
After all the excitement yesterday (and only getting seven-ish hours of sleep the night before), I was so ready for bed. Of course, half an hour after lying down I was kept awake for the next hour or so by crazy thunderclaps. Then I woke up this morning at 4am. So I'm working on five hours of sleep this morning.
It's been over six weeks since I enjoyed a regular sleep schedule. It's catching up with me. So tired. So very tired. I'm good at Staying On for people, but once I'm home by myself, or home with just
mckitterick, I power down big time. It makes finding the energy to work on the costume nearly impossible. Sucks.
One of the people in my Inspirational Top Ten List yesterday posted a timely blog article on working up to a handstand. Nice, huh?

5 hours of sleep. NOT GOOD. :( and I really sympathize. :(
I'm one of those people who gets woken up if the bedroom temperature changes by one degree, if a single molecule of light comes in the curtains, or if the cat breaths heavily next to me in the bed.
Then there are other nights when it just ain't happenin' AT. ALL. and I get to lie there, wondering if I should get up and read a book instead.
Insomnia SUCKS. (literally, sucks the life out of your waking moments) Hope you sleep better tonight!!!!

Cross your fingers for no thunderstorms.

I took pics of each speaker, and a couple of pics panning the crowd; I'm going to download them tomorrow, cause I'm running out of steam tonight....
And, on that note, I hope you get a better night's sleep tonight!

I was so busy watching the chorus that I didn't pay any attention to the "doctor" and the "patient."

Rin pointed out the guy looked like a music agent of some stripe. I say he didn't do the Green Party any favors.
