The difficult part will be keeping it within the limited number of characters of Twitter.

What is the benefit he is saying this will give us? This just seems bad all the way around.

Doesn't benefit us. It benefits the Nosey Nancys in government, corporations, and people who want All The Information. And it is bad all the way around, yes.

It's already been shot down once. I'm angry they're dragging it up again, but I'm also sadly unsurprised.

And the award for the Most Clueless category goes to: Representative Mike Rogers!
Informed of the White House's veto threat, the bill's sponsor described it as "flabbergasting."

"I do not believe the administration knows how to work with a legislative body," Rep. Rogers said. "We have come a long way on some of their points."

*headdesk* Isn't this a little like saying "People are upset that we are running them over with tanks? What is their problem, we repainted them their favorite colors!"

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2013-04-17 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Because that legislative body has been working so well with Obama, and amongst its own members. There are not enough Fuck Yous in the world for this douche-canoe.
