When Fat Cat =/= Rich Cat
In the past six months, Fetish Kitty cost more in vet bills than she has her entire fifteen years prior to this. That doesn't include food, but her food bills are higher too, since she's on all-meat-all-the-time food now.
She racked up almost $1,000 in medical bills since January.
I love my cat. And she's going to keep me from attending the yoga training course. There is no way I can catch up at this point. All the money that was supposed to be going into savings for the yoga course is now earmarked for the LASIK surgery payment. If this continues, I'll have to pay for 100% the surgery out of my savings account, instead of half from current savings and the half I'd hoped to save since I scheduled it.
I was really banking (har har) on the fact that April is a three-paycheck month. The good news is that extra paycheck means I didn't have to put any of the vet payments on a credit card. Yay for silver linings.
To remind myself why I'm shelling out all this cash:

Color me unsurprised.
Dr. Cavanaugh's office offers a 12-month interest-free payment plan. I'd hoped to have
Now, I'm not so sure about that. It makes me nervous to pull out nearly half my current savings for this. Using the in-house payment plan for at least half of it might be the better option for my own peace of mind.

Ahyup. Specially when it's interest-free, you can't go wrong.
Poor Fetish.
Poor you's.
I think I'm going to sign up for some policy before Ymirs starts getting age-related issues.
