The library is in big mustache
This weekend was made of nearly 100% sloth. I barely even mustered the energy to eat, much less eat well. Which means I'm paying for it a little today, but ah well. I didn't eat any poison, but most of my sustenance consisted of an occasional scrambled egg or a handful of almonds and dried fruit. I did have one good meal each day--both of them at a restaurant. So. Yeah. A little uncomfortable today, but I regret nothing.
I am so, so, so, so glad KCRF is over. Forty-four more weekends to go before we do it all over again. Maybe. We'll see.
And now, a bunch of little things.
Check out this article at Salon that talks about how music has a physiological effect on us. As someone who has a (minimal) issue with auditory processing disorder, there was a lot in here that made me nod my head. I like loud music because it interferes with my noticing (and being irritated by) general life crap, and helps stop any hamster-wheel brain-turning. This is why I hate it when people talk at concerts or in movies, and why I will not try to hold a conversation with someone if I'm trying to watch a band. Too much auditory input, and I get irritable and edgy.
I occasionally talk about my relationship with
mckitterick, and how happy I am that we allow each other to be each other. Usually. For the most part. This xkcd sums up how I feel about him. Is he everything in the world to me? No. Would I give him the world if I could? Yes.
You know those KEEP CALM and CARRY ON variant posters? I want a tee shirt with this one on it.
Another week has gone by and I still have not pulled out my winter clothes. I am so sick of my summer wardrobe, but I'll be sweaty and uncomfortable if I don my wool skirts while temperatures are still reaching the 80s. But since it's so cold in the morning when I walk to work, I'm wearing jeans to the office. Blah. This is not at all what I had in mind when I mentioned a while back about costuming-up my general wardrobe.
A friend of
mckitterick's loaned him the first season of Community and we watched the entire first disc (seven or so episodes) last night. Well,
mckitterick started watching while I was doing stuff around the house, and by the third episode I gave up and sat down on the couch with him because I realized I was standing there for half the time anyway, watching over his shoulder. Good show.

Lastly, I have lost my camera. Suxxor.

And hooray for a weekend of sloth. You deserve more than one.

Those actors are so good together. Man. Unstoppable. The outtakes with them and the Batman Questions? Priceless.

Damn. Well, I did see an Easyshare on sale through Groupon Goods (http://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-kodak-easyshare-m580) in case someone wants to buy you a present.

As opposed to you, I mildly regret eating those stupid leftover Doritos. Thankfully I didn't have too many. My body rejects them.

Just throw out those chips, etc., that people left over. Throw them out now so you won't be tempted tonight after class when you've forgotten how miserable you are now.
