This is not a great day
Any remaining warm fuzzies I felt toward Rob Jones and Peak Performance Physical Therapy dissolved this morning when I opened up a bill from him and found that I owe Three Hundred and Seventy Seven Dollars for my visits in December. Nearly four hundred bucks for a month's worth of about twice-weekly visits (for something that turned out to be a misdiagnosis). I'm going to call them tomorrow to tell them exactly what I think of their policy of telling people at the receptionist window "Oh, it looks like your insurance covers this. You don't owe anything!" and then hitting them with a bill like this three months later. Fuck you, Peak Performance. I'll be revising my Yelp rating and qualifying my recommendation to everyone I've referred to you after our conversation tomorrow. I really should do it today, but stressful dreams left me a little frazzled this morning and I don't have the energy for a conversation like that.
My hopes that the elimination diet was helping were quashed when I swelled up three inches after lunch yesterday and am still up an inch and a half this morning. sigh
The brown boots arrived yesterday and I got to wear them today, but I felt a little stupid for buying them after I opened that physical therapy bill. I couldn't afford them before. I really can't afford them, now. And I'm not sure where the $130 for my Crossfit startup fees will come from. I might have to put that off until the first payday of April. Which is, of course, not until the 13th of the month.
I don't suppose anyone needs any of my leftover stock of bloomers or knitting needle cases, do they?
Three more days until I can have a glass of wine.

Perhaps something beautiful might help a tiny bit?

You are stressed. Take that into account. It might not be the diet at all...

Not at the moment, but I was going to ask if you'd like me to take some to vend at Warrior Weekend? It's later in April, but...if You've got 'em, I'll hawk 'em!

At this point, who isn't, or hasn't recently?
Surprise bills make my blood boil, my mouth froth and very rude words come out.

And curse insurance bullshit.

That sounds eerily familiar to my first kidney stone, when the insurance denied coverage because something was coded wrong, and I got an 8000$ bill. It took 3 months to clear up completely...

Meanwhile, I'll start working on discovering a way to punch life right in the face.

Definitely recheck with your insurance on the bill. And hey, they took 3 months to send it to you, you can take at least that long to pay whatever you end of owing them.
Hope you feel better. And if it helps, picture yourself on this horse :): http://timstvshowcase.com/duesouth.html (scroll down just a bit).

For. Real. And would you believe (of course you would) they had the gall to stamp PAST DUE in red letters across it?

Time for more work! Call 'em and get this corrected.

I will. Because I have tons of time and energy to deal with this bullshit.

Welcome to the Dark Ages!
Even financially, this is such a stupid decision. The cost of contraception vs. the cost of 24 years of health insurance + 4 years of college tuition ... not really a contest.

JFC.
It is, however, my opinion that you should have even moar babies. If I could subsidize the cost of a child for you, I totally would. The world needs more people like you and yours.

I could always be wrong, but I think we're done at this point. Evie + twins turns out to be quite a bit of work than just Evie. Who knew?

I am sorry you are having to deal with that, and I am sorry the elimination diet did not fix things. :(

Yes, please at least tell me who it was (in private) so I can avoid him/her as well.
SO LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR WINE AND HOOKAH DATE.
