Point the gun at your own foot, not mine
First off, I need to get two things off my chest:
WHAT THE FUCK, WISCONSIN? Seriously. What in the fucking fuck? I would expect this sort of bullshit from Kansas, but Wisconsin. I thought you were better thanus that.
And FUCK YOU, U.S. SENATE. This wasn't surprising news, but incredibly disappointing. The most nauseating thing about it? Of the paltry number of women senators, five of them voted against it. Five. FIVE WOMEN VOTED AGAINST EQUAL COMPENSATION FOR THEIR OWN SEX. I just...I can't...I...I'm... *sigh* I'm just gonna put this here:

Yesterday was not a good day for progressives.
Fyeahfanvids.tumblr. I...didn't need to know this existed. Because, um...yeaaaah.
I have an appointment with Dr. Khosh (I don't remember which one) at 3:00 Friday. One hundred ninety-five dollar fee for the first consulting appointment. JFC.

Once in a while I daydream about if I'd pursued acting as a career. Then I'm reminded of the ridiculous working conditions they suffer.
Speaking of actors, here is an interesting essay about Benedict Cumberbatch's weird face. The first time I watched the Sherlock series, I was struck by how I didn't find him attractive at all, but his charisma kept me anchored to him. I couldn't not look at him. Then I made the Sherlock coat and I spent a lot of time (a lot of a lot of time) looking at him. Then I re-watched the series and discovered that my opinion/taste had changed and now I found him very attractive indeed. But what I love best about his face (and Martin Freeman's) is how mobile it is. I have a ridiculously expressive face myself, and I exaggerate the quality on a regular basis. I like seeing what
e4q referred to as "cartoon face" in other people.

Well, you know. You can't change someone's belief with facts. In fact, attempts to do so can make their beliefs even stronger.
Yay for expressive faces in photos!

Wow.. I missed that study. I'll have to go back and read it.
*melodramatic depressive sigh*
And.. well, no more
wastingspending my time looking up her email forwarded nonsense.
