Wallowing

I have had so much sugar these past two days. I feel like a slug. Ooof. Oh, and did I mention the eggnog? Burp. Healthwise, feeling much better although I seem to have done something weird to my left shoulder. Ouch.

The Big Thing this year was from My Fine Boy who got me an absolutely gorgeous bracelet made up small broken pieces of antique china in silver bezel settings. Gorgeous! I'll try to remember to get a photo. I didn't finish the shawl, no big surprise, but it's almost done. The gifties this year were few and far between since we're pretty deep in over our heads from the kitchen remodel. But that's fine. I'm much more interested in getting the kitchen done.

Last night we finally got around to watching The Two Towers extended version. I did like it better than the theatrical release. I will say that the long version resulted in a better movie, but some of the changes still annoy me. I don't know that they annoyed me less because the reasons were better spelled out, though. I think I just knew they were coming this time.

Big day in KC today: Shopping, eating, more shopping, and then off to see Return of the King.
