1) What is the dwelling you secretly wish you owned? Houseboat, loft, country farm, something else?
Dunno if it's really secret. I want to own a lakeshore property cabin in the Ozarks.

2) What sort of home do you want to have when you retire?
Um, lakeshore cabin in the Ozarks?

3) If you could make one room of your house over into your dream space, which room would it be and what would you do?
I'm already working on making our bedroom into my dream room. I want it to look like something out of Arabian Nights. Rugs and tapestries with luxurious bedding and pillows everywhere. And lanterns. Yum.

4) What's the thing that everyone oohs and aahs over in terms of housewares that strikes you as perverse at best?
I'm probably the one oohing and aahing. But I think those stainless steel bars that you use to get rid of garlic-smelling hands are silly. Just use some stainless steel silverware. Or your faucet!

5) Is there something they haven't invented yet that you wish they would from the same category? If not, what have they invented that makes you grin that happy home grin?
Um, what?

Was planning to take the day off, but I'm working half a day. Or maybe half of half a day. Perhaps I'll leave at 11:00 instead of noon. Either way, I have a lunch date with starstraf, hurray! A good way to start the weekend.
