If you haven't seen it already: Modern Drunkard Magazine

Didn't feel real great yesterday evening and not feeling too whippee this morning, either. Bleh. I'd really really really like to take the rest of the week off.

I desperately need to get back into sewing. Last night I realized that I've got to make the sewing area work the way it is or I'm not going to have any summer skirts, dance costumes for the summer show, or revised garb for Faire. Yikes. Time to get on the stick and organize that corner. Ugh. Nightmare.

[livejournal.com profile] secret_malady, please please please email me or call about the Link Wray show.

8:55 in the morning and I already need a nap.

Here you go, hon:

1. Total volume of music files on my computer? Er. None.

2. The last CD I bought was... Um, I think it was Night Tide by Big Sandy and the Flyrite Boys. Had to replace the copy that [livejournal.com profile] 0verdrive got to keep.

3a. The last song I listened to before writing this was... Something annoying and inane on officemate's radio.

3b. Song playing right now: I don't know it.

4. Five songs that mean a lot to me.
  • Stella Erans on the Cirque du Soleil "Dralion" soundtrack. It's beautiful beyond words.
  • Helpless, by Sugar. Actually, the whole "Copper Blue" album gets played often. Bar none, that is the best anger-and-release album I own.
  • No Groovy, or anything on the "Heavy Bag" album by former local guys STICK. It reminds me of when I used to listen to them practice in the basement.
  • Mexicali Rose by Deke Dickerson because that was one of [livejournal.com profile] 0verdrive's favorite songs to dance to at Deke's shows.
  • Push It, by Salt-N-Pepa because [livejournal.com profile] roya_spirit and I look hot when we dance together during it. It's our song!

  • 5. Which 5 people are you passing this baton to, and why? I can't pick five, so I'll open it up to anyone reading. Feel free to jump in!
