Lovely time at Brothel Night. We all seemed a bit low energy, but perhaps that was just me. Chess Match rehearsal was fine and it didn't rain on us on Sunday. Hurrah.

I have a bid on the dolls I'm selling on eBay. Hurrah! I need to get the other dolls listed, along with the fabric I'm selling. I'm selling the fabric because I've just got too damn much of it and I'm selling my remaining dolls because I just don't have a place to display them anymore (and haven't for years). I'm pleased to see that a Sasha like the one I'll be selling went for a good price. I don't have the box or the wrist band, so knock off some $$ there, but if I could get $100 for her, I'd be really happy.

Two more bodices cut yesterday. I still need fabric for one more chemise and pair of bloomers. The eyelet that I dyed did dye beautifully, but it's more of an orangey-red that, on reflection, will be a much better match for my new dance costume. So. Lucky me, I've got a $10 credit at Hancock's, so I hope to hop over there today and maybe find another nice paisley since we have the official OK on that.

The new bodice length is nice, but it's shorter, so all my boning is now too short. Argh. I'm hoping I can get some ordered in time for opening weekend because cutting down the ones I have is No Fun At All.

For everyone waiting for it, here's my recipe for Diablos in Bulk:
  • 3 c Creme de Cassis
  • 2 c Tequila
  • 1/2 c Lime Juice
Keep measuring it out until you run out of something. Pour it in a pitcher and keep it in the fridge. When pouring, use 1 part liquor mix to 2 or 3 parts diet ginger ale. Normal (sugar) ginger ale will be too sweet and the drink will be more cough-syrup like and not quite so refreshing.
