New icons are in the air

Walmart was no big surprise, but, now Target? Where am I supposed to spend my rainy Sunday afternoon impulse shopping time?

So I made a couple new icons to cheer myself up. This lovely one of Azucena (used for this post) is from one of my favorite photos of me taken this season. Full (and rather large) photo: ( Behind the cut )

Neck/shoulder is still a little messed up, but feeling better. Hm. Just did some head wobbling. Feeling a lot better, actually. Good deal.

Big meeting this afternoon. I have to take minutes. Boo.

Don't bother adding this one to my holiday wish list

Holy Cow.

OK, I have all but three two of Mary Stewart's gothic romances from the 50s and 60s in hardback except for three: Wildfire at Midnight, Thunder on the Right, and Nine Coaches Waiting. I've found all of them for $2 and $3 at Friends of the Library book sales. Mind you, I couldn't care less about condition, as long as they're readable and not covered in mold. Dust jackets are nice, but eh. I buy them to read, not gaze upon.

Well, here's one I might not be adding to my collection anytime soon.

Bugger.

There's an edition of Nine Coaches Waiting available with a BIN of $35. Sheesh.
