List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your lj along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
I'm not really into seven particular songs right now (I think this must be directed more at the iPot sector of the population), but here are the CDs I listened to this weekend while taking care of various projects:
Adam and the Ants Antics in the Forbidden Zone
BR5-49 Coast to Coast
Soul Coughing Irresistable Bliss
The Cure Mixed Up
Siouxie and the Banshees Peepshow
Deke Dickerson Mr. Entertainment
Um, that's it. Only six. Sorry!
scary_manilow provides me with the unfortunate news that Link Wray has passed on.
In brighter news,
slinka announces that her 2006 Wall Calendar is available. 2005 was amazing, and I imagine next year's will be as delightful, if not more.
And the Gigantic Huge News Of The Day, thanks to
auroraceleste: The Notorious Bettie Page Movie. Yes, movie.
I went to see An Army of One this weekend. It was amazing. Incredibly hard to watch. The writing was powerful and the actors were excellent. Wow. Just...wow.
I'm very much looking forward to a short work week. Ahhh.
UPDATE: Eeeee! My hardback copy of Thunder on the Right, so generously found for me by
themadblonde just arrived. Squeee! It's in amazing condition, DJ is gorgeous, and for the low low price of $2.76 plus shipping. I am so happy!!!!
