Just putting these out there, in case anyone's listening

Dear life in general:

Stop with the cold, already. It's only December. Things aren't supposed to be this miserable for another month or so. And lay off the precipitation on Mondays OK? I really want to go to yoga class.

I know it's my fault for not checking sooner, but if somehow someone could have told me that my backup sewing machine was broken? That would've been fantastic. Especially if I'd been told before I offered to take on these paid sewing jobs.

The three pounds that magically appeared on my ass this morning? You may go away now. The lemon cake was really good but I know I didn't eat three pounds of it. Bugger off. Now.

I'm seriously considering taking a couple half days next week. I'm telling you now so in case you feel like popping any more little work surprises on me: next Thursday and Friday would be really bad days for that.
