Finnegan, begin again

Another week. Starting.

Had a few people over this weekend to get some crafty things done. That was nice. Thanks especially to grnvixen, lionsai, redbelle27, and zerself who drove all the way from KC in the crap weather. Having folks in the house encouraged me to do a bit of cleaning beforehand. Thank you roya_spirit for the standing loan of the vacuum cleaner. It made a world of difference. Thank you adammaker for the lovely earrings (I wish I'd had time to watch you make them). And thank you bestill for helping redbelle27 with knitting advice.

That's about all I have the energy for right now. What's it like to get six consecutive hours of sleep? I've forgotten.

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I had no stomach problems this weekend whatsover. Whew.

JC Superstar, Lawrence performance

WHAT: A benefit performance of the music of Jesus Christ Superstar (a tribute to the original UK cast recording).

WHEN: 2 shows: Saturday, February 25, 7 pm (doors at 6) AND 11 pm (doors at 10).

WHERE: The Bottleneck, 737 New Hampshire, Lawrence. (There will be a show the following week at the Record Bar in Westport, Sat., March 4, time TBA).

HOW MUCH: $5. All proceeds to be donated to LINK (Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen) and the Lawrence Humane Society. Advance tickets will be available at Love Garden Records, 936 1/2 Mass. St., 843-1551 by the end of this week.

WHO: Various Lawrence area musicians, including members of The Midday Ramblers, Split Lip Rayfield, The Eudoras, The Shebangs, Foodhead, The Kelihans, and other area bands.
