It's going to be a long day
Jun. 2nd, 2006 09:08 amI didn't sleep particularly well. I didn't have anything to bring for breakfast this morning. Sigh.

1. How many things do you have on your "to-do list" (mental or physical) right now? Um, a lot. At work:
Transfer all student files to my office.
Update student database.
Revise handbook for next printing.
Gather materials for orientation packets.
Make posters and other ephemera (banquet tickets, name tags, etc.) for Campbell Conference.
At home:
Finish two bras and skirts for troupe girls.
Finish my own bra. Start (and finish) the belt.
Choreography for solo. Practice futzing with veil.
Buy ballroom dance shoes and glitter fishnet hose for CotK costume.
Make costume for Middle Eastern weekend at Faire.
Learn to drum for ME weekend. Buy a drum, maybe.
Those are the big ones. Everything else is in the do-if-I-feel-like-it category.
2. How many things do you generally have on your "to-do list"? It varies, but summertime is especially full.
3. How do you keep from forgetting the things on your "to-do list" (e.g. keeping a written list, using software or a PDA, relying on your memory)? I put everything in my planner.
4. Are you generally good at staying organized and focused enough to get the things on your "to-do list" done? Do you get them done with lots of time to spare, or just in the nick of time? Oh, yes. Terribly organized. Excruciatingly organized. If I'm in full control of the situation, things are always done early. If I have to rely on others for something, sometimes they run a little close to deadline.
5. Have you ever forgotten something important that you were supposed to do? What was it? What were the consequences of forgetting? I don't think I've ever completely forgotten something important. Except maybe I should have remembered to stop at the grocery store last night to buy myself something for breakfast today.
