I'm chilly in the office this morning. I know that's not unusual (for me to be cold), but that's quite a change from earlier this summer when we had no airflow and this office was roasting, even at 8 a.m. I'm cold enough that I'm not going to be able to drink my water this morning. Gonna have to make some hot tea.
Yesterday I ran to Hancock's to get some thread and thought maybe I'd just check to see if there were any other green paisleys. Lo and behold, there was! I don't know how I missed this one last time, but it's a beautiful olive green with red and gold accents. Just enough for a third pair of bloomers, which I'll make tonight. So now
nottygypsy can get through a three-day weekend at faire without having to do laundry. I've done that for myself (three pairs of bloomers and three chemises) so doing laundry after I get home from faire in the evening isn't a must--even on the long weekends.
Oh, btw, when I carried the fabric up to the cutting table, the girl (who I swear wasn't even working the day I found the first bolt of green paisley) looked at me and said "More green paisley, huh?" My fame spreads. Huzzah.
Also, yesterday while I was finishing up my last pair of bloomers, I had the first inkling of "Ooo! I'm getting excited for Faire!" That's good. I was getting worried it wasn't going to happen until I got out to site. And that makes getting up and into makeup on Saturday morning not such a good time.
OK, off to make myself something warm to drink.
