I'm being interviewed by the LJ world about my role in the Brothel Right Now.
UPDATE: Okay. Well! That was interesting. The paper is doing a story on Lawrence-ites who work at Faire. Heads-up to any other Larryville folks. Let's hope I didn't sound like too much of a moron--and they don't make me sound like too much of a moron. She first said "Now, you're one of the court ladies, right?" HA HA! Um. No. Not so much.
UPDATE of UPDATE: I had a moment of oh-crap-ness and realized that no, in fact I did not want my full name published in an article with my whore persona and accompanying photo. It's bad enough that we have stalkers out there who don't know our real names. Do I really want the freaks to know my whole name, city of residence, and, possibly, workplace? I called back to see if they could only use my persona name. The reporter didn't know, so she went to ask her editor, and he said no. So I asked them to pull me from the article. Poo. Oh, well! I apologized, and she said to not worry, she had enough interview material for her story. She did seem very nice. I'm glad I didn't screw up her story by asking to be pulled.
