My work email inbox was empty when I went to the bathroom and to refill my water mug. It was empty when I got back to my desk.

That's the first time in over a week.

Outlook just beeped. I was hoping I'd at least have time to type this and maybe eat a bit of lunch.

That was a very short-lived record.
