Béchamel

Béchamel (white sauce) made with whole wheat flour. Just curious if anyone here has ever tried it. I don't want to purchase some white flour just for that. Whole wheat pastry flour is a must, obviously, but must I go with white flour? Opinions appreciated.

There is a surplus of Issue #3 of Coilhouse's printed magazine. Interesting. Issues One and Two sold out. I wonder if their readership has been as disappointed as I've been in their latest online presence.

I bought one of these on Saturday. mckitterick's old receiver stopped picking up the radio without static a few weeks ago and we'd talked about getting a replacement. I intended to limit my impulse shopping to socks and nail polish at Target, but as I was driving by Kief's, I thought "fuck it" and dropped some significant bucks on a nice little A/V component. This was how I consoled myself after failing to get Lady Gaga concert tickets. Now my Fame CD sounds amazing.

Anyone wanna buy our old set-up? It includes a sub-woofer (which doesn't work with the Denon), the receiver (which works fine as long as you're not listening to the radio) and a couple little satellite speakers.
