Yesterday I put in three hours at work, then called it quits. I got home, ate something, went to bed, and woke up all better half an hour later. It was like a light switch; 100% all better. I felt great! Man oh man, it feels good to feel good.
Of course, this morning I have a two hour Research and Graduate Studies meeting in the union, but hey! No (literal) headache! I'll take that trade. It's wonderful what the absence of pain can do for one's mood. I'm almost chipper this morning. Wow!
One thing that brought on my good mood was this crazy fog. I took a picture on the way up to work, but my SanDiskcard reader won't read the memory card that was in the new camera.
My Sony SureShot died last week. I've been playing around with the Fuji that
mckitterick bought as a replacement/backup for the ancient old Sony last year (when we started to anticipate its demise), but I don't like it at all. I don't like the way the flash works, I don't like the menu system, I don't like the way it photographs my skin tone, I don't like the way you have to open the battery compartment every time you remove the memory card, and now my card reader won't even download stuff from the damn memory card.
I'm tempted to hit Target to buy a new SureShot tonight. If I decide I can't spend the money on one, I'm going to nix my 365 project until I can. There is no way I'm doing a year of photos with this Fuji.
