Costuming for ConQuesT

Although I don't have intentions to enter the Masquerade this year*, I'm thinking about pulling together a hall costume loosely** based on the Siren outfits from Tron Legacy. Yes, I know the movie was kind of ass, but cyberfashion is Just So Fancy-Baby. Also, the costume would be almost 100% purchased since I'm not going to sew a skin-tight garment when I can pick up tights and tees at Target.

Also-also, mckitterick bought me a pair of the most fucking awesome boots that cry out to be footwear for a fem-bot.

Don't they just? And so comfortable! I might have to order another pair of these in the black. Although I'm tempted to get them in the oxford shoe style instead. You know, variety and all. If I had the money, I'd order the shoes and the boots in all three colors*** because these are the most comfortable high-heel wedge shoes I have ever put on.

* It takes so much time and energy. I miss most of Saturday's day programming and then am too tired to party Saturday night.

** And I mean "loosely" in all manner of ways.

*** I would, however, take the "sand" color to BKB leather to be dyed dark red.
