Exhausting weekend was exhausting. And expensive.
Our visiting students arrive tonight for tomorrow's graduate student recruitment visit. We had our first crisis already (a canceled flight) and it's not even 9:30.
I was hoping to co-host a room party on Friday night at ConQuesT this year but the person I wrote about it hasn't responded to my email since I first sent him a note about it, well over a month ago. I told him I needed to know soon, because after mid-March I was going to be focused on the costume stuff. Haven't heard a peep from him since his initial email on February 6, and I've written twice. I guess that party is a no-go. Disappointing.
This will never stop being one of the sexiest things I've ever seen in my life.
Next week cannot come soon enough.
