Excelsior, indeed

It took me six hours to pull the unclaimed patterns from the filing cabinet and match them up with their envelopes. Granted, it took me longer than it might have thanks to the dyscalculia--I'd say 10% of the envelopes had transposed or inaccurate numbers (usually sixes and nines mixed up), but still. Holy christ. While I was pulling them, I found several vintage patterns with no envelopes. Puzzling and frustrating. Of course, once I taped up the box for the woman who wanted the unclaimed patterns, I found the damn envelopes. No clue why they were in a separate binder, but now I still have a whole bunch of vintage patterns I don't want, even post-purge.



Today I'm getting done the rest of the shit in the sewing room I hoped to do yesterday before I realized it would take me six hours to pull the patterns. I've got a craft fair coming up in October and I'd really like to get some XL bloomers made for sale for that. But ain't no sewing gonna happen in there with the room in that state.
