Speaking of happy endings, someone left a comment on Ghost Story yesterday that said (among other things) "i am not sure i will survive if this has no happy ending" and it reminded me something I was going to mention in the DVD commentary but would like to say here: I am so... humbled? idk, something-ed by the fact that people trust me enough to be reading this story as I post it, despite the major archive warnings (especially That One). That really means a lot to me. Thank you. And also I do not care about giving spoilers for my own story so if you need them, please contact me! In the meantime, I so deeply value your trust. <3
My little burg is now under stay-at-home orders until April 23. *looks at calendar* So, uh, that'll be five weeks of isolation for me. So glad I started early! Got myself into the groove ahead of the rest of the suckers, aw yiss.
Would anyone be interested in replicas of Zhao Yunlan's GOOD VIBES ONLY patch? I have a local contact who makes patches and she's willing to make these. A basic 3" x 3.5" patch with no back fill embroidery would cost $6-8. She doesn't stock any tan fabric, though, so unless we want it on a white background (ZYL's patch is sort of beige with dark olive or brown thread), we'd have to buy a fully stitched background that would add $5 to each patch. If there's enough interest here, I might ask on Twitter. I feel like we could all use some good vibes and I'm sure Erica would appreciate the bit of business since she's probably not gonna be vending at many cons in the near future.
