Sunday Snippet

I was off screens for pretty much the entire time this week due to a Very Very Bad reaction to an attempt at medicating my fatigue. During the downtime I decided to make some changes to how the camp in Good Intentions is structured so that's gonna take some major revising but won't change much of the actual plot.

I also wrote a good number of words on a Weilan femslash Big Eden AU that I'm feeling pretty happy about. I don't want to lose momentum on Good Intentions though, so have a snippet from the little bit I managed to write on Monday.

Shen Wei did his best to capture their input on paper, feeling a bit like a police sketch artist. When he sat back, Chu Shuzhi pointed to the softer, cuter of the two designs.

“It looks like one of those chibi stickers Becks put on your locker,” he said. Zhao Yunlan grimaced and opened his mouth to protest but Chu Shuzhi cut him off. “Means it’d sell,” he pointed out. “And marketability is one of things they judge us on.”

Zhao Yunlan peered at Shen Wei’s sketches and nodded in resigned agreement.

“Point. Okay, well, let’s vote.” At the even split, he looked at Shen Wei and lifted a shoulder. “You’re team lead. Make the call.”
