In over my head. Literally.
Sep. 2nd, 2003 11:31 amI spent most of Labor Day Weekend cleaning up my sewing room and filing the multitudes of patterns that were waiting for a home in the cabinets. It took 2 new Sterilite tubs, 4 10-ream copier paper boxes, and almost 125 additional hanging file folders, but nearly everything is put away now.
There are two areas of the room (the closet and the top of one filing cabinet) where I need to stand on a chair to get at the topmost of the fabric stash.
I thought it would be interesting to count all my patterns when they were finally filed, but then I decided that would actually be depressing so I didn't. I would bet that I'm over the 250 pattern limit that I set last year. I also told myself to stop buying fabric. Ha. Seriously, though, pretty soon I'm not going to have room to sew in there.
Of course, my next project--Halloween Costumes--is going to require new patterns and more fabric. What's a girl to do?
