I think I need a vacation

I don't know why, but I'm feeling incredibly irritable today. Poor D, home with a bad cold who will probably get minimal sympathy from me. I've snapped at a couple people at work (who really did deserve it, but still) and I am getting my back up (stupidly) when people ask me to do things that actually *are* my responsibility.

I think I just need a vacation. And not a three day weekend spent cleaning and organizing. A real break with lots of self-indulgence and much lying about in pajamas.

So as a warning to my beloved friends who do not wish to get on my bad side today, here is some friendly advice.

Although just now, Kij walked by with the most amazing pair of shoes and that cheered me up considerably. Unfortunately, I cannot find a pic of them online to share the joy.

Oh and even better: I just remembered that I have a meeting from noon to two for the Graduate School. Shit.

UPDATE: Meeting was miserable and I think I'm coming down with D's cold. Throat hurts and I can feel my sinuses draining back there. Ewwww.
