My current Free Will Astrology horoscope instructs me to channel my sacred rage at what's wrong in my world. I'd like to note that I've been doing this for years and I haven't noticed it helping much. Maybe I need to be more spiritual when I dive into a rant.

If I remember, I always try to run through my Amazon Gold Box to see what nutty things they'll think I want, based on (I assume) my previous orders. I usually get a good laugh out of some of it, and very rarely find anything I'd actually purchase, but today, I did. Isn't it beautiful? I know I'm a sad case when I'm enthralled by a spoon rest, but this one is sooooo pretty. And I needed a new spoonrest since my lovely pale yellow Fiestaware one just isn't going to match the new kitchen, alas.

So hurray, I bought it for myself. Which makes me feel not quite so sad about giving up my gift certificate to Best Buy for Dean last night so he could buy Band of Brothers without actually having to spend any money. Best Buy GCs were popular with the Wilsons this year...

Today is dragging by so slowly (hence the online shopping). What gives? Monday through Wednesday was fine, but god I feel like Thursday is making me pay for it--rather literally.
