Friday Five
Jan. 9th, 2004 09:00 amWhat one thing are you most looking forward to . . .
1. ...today?
Going home for the weekend.
2. ...over the next week?
Getting my surgery over.
3. ...this year?
Getting back in shape.
4. ...over the next five years?
Wow, I don't plan that far ahead. Um, staying in shape?
5. ...for the rest of your life?
See #4.

Last night I went downtown to meet roya_spirit for coffee and browsing at Borders. I found a nice (cheap!) little planner for 2004 and a CD. The planner is unfortunately necessary as I've been getting more and more forgetful lately. Very upsetting. The CD is fabulous. It's Baila Habibi, Volume 3 and out of 14 tracks there are only one or two that I don't care for. The rest of them are absolute gems. I'm gonna add the previous two volumes to my wish list, I think. Fun mix of middle east with latin rhythms and melodies. I'm a big fan of both genres and this CD, with very few exceptions, manages to do both quite well. It's Yummy!
