A few points and a crappy year in review

After re-reading a lot of the comments to my post about Narnia, I think I've come to a conclusion about why Lewis's proselytizing bothers me so much. I feel he panders to his audience, using the fantasy and a child's wish to escape to emotionally manipulate kids into his belief system. I don't like that. I'm not attacking the people who do, and I would never say someone shouldn't like these books, ok? Like them all you want.

WinterSilks. The best. Thanks adammaker and rowangolightly for recommending them. I'm not exactly toasty, but I'm not freezing. A definite improvement.

Looks like it won't get wide-release until January.
