Well! I feel much better, now.

*brushes hands briskly*

There now! Nothing like a productive weekend to get me feeling better.

Friday after work I foisted some rice pudding off on cedarsong and everflame. I was in bed by 8:00, which is never a good idea for me, since I wake up in the middle of the night if I retire before 9:00. But I was just so tired and headachey. True to form, I woke at 2:10, took a Benedryl, and stared at the ceiling for forty minutes. I got up, made muffins, ate a couple with some warm milk, read a bit, and went back to bed around 4:00. I slept until 8:50! Unheard of.

I got some more sewing done in the early afternoon, and then met dvicci for drinks downtown (see new icon!). There was some fashion show thing going on at Replay (if by "fashion show" you mean "a bunch of kids getting together and throwing together bad 80s combos found on the rack at their stores") so we headed over to Jackpot PDQ. scary_manilow was working, and I gave him the too-small shirt in return for good company. I like afternoon drinkins when nobody else (or at least very few people) are in the bar.

Sunday I sewed up a storm--a new dress for myself, and I think I finally got the shirt for Luca. Good color combo, and this one should fit. I found the old pattern I used to use for 0verdrive, so I didn't have to trace anything new. So this is the one I'll be taking with me to Italy. I really hope it fits, although scary_manilow is probably holding out hope that it won't.

I'm quite pleased with the prospect of having a full sewing day mid-week. Anyone else have non-explodey plans for the 4th?
