Again? Didn't we just do this?
Jun. 29th, 2007 08:27 amMore weather. More rain. More...headache.
This one started about 3:30 p.m. yesterday. By the time I got home I was pretty disoriented. But starving. So I started to make dinner. And I poured the water for the rice not in the pot, but in the Rubbermaid container of rice. So I had to make the rest of the rice I had stored. I now have about ten cups of cooked rice left over (that's after making dinner and a batch of rice pudding).
Stellar.
My "sigraine" (sinus-migraine) headaches are so strange and so frustrating. They don't match the standard specs for migraines, although as I get older I'm starting to experience the nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. No auras, which is actually kind of a bummer. I don't get any warning, either. They just come on--BOOM--and steadily get worse. None of the migraine drugs help (which isn't unusual), and there's pretty much nothing I can do about it when I get one except sorta take it easy and hope it doesn't last too long. At least mine are fairly low-level. I think I've only been knocked down to Incapacitated twice.
Anyway.
So today: Slog through and hope the weather clears. Usually when the pressure changes cease, so does the headache.
UPDATE: Crap. I blew my nose and realized I forgot to put my nose ring in, too. *groan* Not a big deal--just means it'll be a little snug when I finally get it in this evening. One more thing.
