It is still snowing
Feb. 5th, 2010 09:10 amI came to work today because of a Big Grad School informational Meeting at 10:30. I'm here, even though I was awakened by cramps at 3:00, 4:30, and 6:40 a.m. Good times. We got this email at 8:24 this morning: "Due to poor road conditions and to encourage safety, supervisors are advised to be tolerant of late staff arrivals and faculty are advised to tolerant of late student arrivals to class."

George Foreman was not a go last night. Bummed about that. I spent the evening with hard liquor and a heating pad. I got to read a good book, though. This Is Not a Game. I plowed through it in under four hours. I'm not sure it's SF, but it was a fantastic thriller/adventure.
