Quick Guardian Twitter find: What's a soulmate? I'm not sure what the original audio is from. I could only find this.

Things I found during one hour of packing that made me laugh/groan/wonder what the hell I'm going to do with them:

• The first two volumes of a 1955 encyclopedia from Yugoslavia.
• Dina Lydia's set of bellydance costuming books from the 90s and ten pounds of Egyptian glass beaded fringe.
• A box of mid-century sewing patterns.

Some stuff I'm fine with carting off to the thrift store (assuming such things exist post-COVID), like the three leftover spools of shitty lace I used for my non-regulation Renfest petticoats. That glass fringe is gorgeous, though, (and I have more than what I'm wearing in those two pics). But I don't even know anyone local who dances anymore, much less makes their own costumes.

I'm cobbling together a housewarming wishlist as I pack and it's pretty small so far. I have problems asking for things and I don't want things I don't ask for. Yes, I see the issue. It's weird to ask for one of those organizers that hangs over your shower head though, you know? What I would really love is for y'all to just come visit and help me pack/unpack. 😄
