Shen Wei cosplay!
Of course, of course, the English department job posted yesterday. Application review begins November 4. Whatever. Not like I have anything else going on right now. This is fine.
I'm prepping food for McKitterick so he doesn't starve during the weeks I hope to stay in blessed isolation.
Yesterday I made three batches of different soups and a vegetable korma (or a facsimile thereof) in the crockpot. Oh, also two batches of these nut seed loaf things (I can't find my recipe, which includes 1/3c oil, something I definitely recommend, and also a handful of craisins). Still to be made: two batches each of chicken tikka masala in the crockpot (see korma parenthetical), picadillos, an Italian-esque chicken and sausage thing (check out the recipe if only for that image at the top of the page), and a batch of sausage and split-pea soup. Probably also a batch of banana muffins so he has a little variety? Oh and since I was wrecking the kitchen anyway I made breakfast banana crepes for probably the last time (at least in a long, long while). It was A LOT.
By the time I sat down around 3:30 I was pretty worn out but also wired which is not a good combo for people with chronic fatigue. I just gotta power through these two weeks, though. Well. Eleven days.

This week's dump on cm.net.
