Sunday Snippet, et. al.

I think I posted about that line you call and they record your scream? Pretty sure this one is me.

I've resumed some of the PT exercises, only now I'm doing them on knees and elbows instead of hands and knees. My fire hydrant is really coming along. I can hold my knee higher and for longer than when I started. Progress is encouraging.

I also got some writing done last night! Very exciting. More from Good Intentions:

“So,” said Zhao Yunlan, vaguely waving a ketchup-dipped fry before shoving it in his mouth, “This egg-dropping thing seems to be a common project. Anybody already done it?”

“Pretty sure you’re the only one who hasn’t,” said Chu Nianzhi with a snort, briefly turning away from his conversation with the chubby, dark-skinned girl who’d won most of his attention. “Delinquent,” he murmured at her with a wink.

“I heard that,” Zhao Yunlan said, still chewing, and threw a fry at Nianzhi’s head.

Chu Shuzhi’s hand shot out to intercept the fry. Eyes narrowed, he pointed it at Zhao Yunlan before eating it. “No more food fights,” he muttered.
