ratbones's epic Guardian AU Rapture I encourage you to hie yourself to AO3 so you can rectify that as soon as possible. I was honestly angry that I was too tired to finish it in one day and had to read the first two chapters this morning. It's rated M for violence (no sex), 103k, and tagged cyberpunk but imo it's more straight-up hard SF.
So engrossing, so plotty, so full of heartbreak and triumph and AUGH *clutches chest while simultaneously making chef's kiss motion*
12/10 recommend.
